(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents based on the written instructions would submit that sand mining operations are completely stopped in the subject area.

2. The Tahsildar, Aranthangi stated that the revenue authorities are monitoring the entire area for preventing the illegal sand quarrying operations. Since the Tahsildar, Aranthangi says that no such illegal activities are going in the said locality, no further consideration is required in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. (S.M.S., J.)
