ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The writ petition was filed to seek a direction to Respondent Nos.1 to 3 herein to take necessary action against the 4th respondent for illegally cutting the trees standing in the Government Poramboke land without proper permission.

2. Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that few trees uprooted due to cyclone and the trees obstructing the electricity line were cut by the villagers. Action has already been taken against them and even the penalty was imposed. At present, no one is cutting the trees without prior permission.

3. In view of the statement of the learned Government Pleader, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction that while action has already been taken against those, who have unauthorizedly cut the

trees, in future, no body should be allowed to cut the trees without the permission and if any one indulge in cutting the trees in illegal manner, immediate action would be taken and there should be proper vigil by the respondents department. No Costs.
