O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to allot alternative plot to the petitioner instead of Plot No.10 which was assigned to the petitioner, plot being an extent of one are.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the plot which has been allotted to the petitioner happened to be a well and therefore, the petitioner has requested for alternate allotment of any other available and suitable lands. The petitioner has already given a representation on 16.10.2024 in this regard. In fact, the 2nd respondent has already recommended to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's request for allotment of alternate plot favourably. 2/4

In the light of the above, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 16.10.2024 taking into account the recommendation of the 2nd respondent, dated 28.11.2023 and pass final orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
