(Crime No.58 of 2011) PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent Police to complete the investigation in case in Crime No.58 of 2011, pending on the file of the respondent Police and further direct him to file a final report within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.58 of 2011, on the file of the respondent Police and to file a final report.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the Police has filed a closure report before the Special Court (land grabbing cases), Madurai, on 15.01.2015. An RC notice has also been served on 09.08.2018.

3. In view of this subsequent development, it is left to the petitioner to file a Protest Petition before the concerned Court and proceed in accordance with law.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
