PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to take necessary steps to incorporate the Natham Survey No.42/1A1A which is situated in Kattupramakudi Village, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District in the official website of the Tamil Nadu Registration Department by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2025.

ORDER

The present writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take necessary steps to incorporate the Natham Survey No.42/1A1A which is situated in Kattupramakudi Village, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District in the official website.

2. The Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the revenue officials ought to have incorporated the same, and only threafter can the registration deparment pass a consequential

order. On the last occasion, i.e. on 02.06.2025, this Court directed the respondents to take instructions from the revenue department, in this regard.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the revenue department has taken appropriate action to incorporate the survey number in the revenue official website and, thereafter, will pass a consequential order.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Revenue Department to pass a consequential order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. No costs.
