Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The petitioner's Gun Licence was cancelled by the third respondent in the year 2013. Questioning the same, the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.12440 of 2022 filed an appeal before the second respondent. He wants the said appeal to be disposed of. No exception can be taken to the said request.
3. The second respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal on merits and an in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the appellate authority to pass order one way or the other. The only direction that has now been given is that the petition mentioned appeal is to be disposed of within the aforesaid period. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
