PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.8 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who was arrested on 31.03.2024 in connection with the offence under Sections 3(b), 4, 5(m), 5(l), 6(1) of the POCSO Act and Section 1/3

506(1) of IPC in Crime No.8 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had sexually abused the defacto complainant's daughter.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submits that he is languishing in jail from 31.03.2024. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent has raised serious objections and submits that the petitioner had sexually assaulted the defacto complainant's daughter. He has also produced the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C. and the wound certificate. 5.Considering the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C and the wound certificate, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
