O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondent for his wilful disobedience of the order of this Court, dated 30.09.2019 made in W.P.(MD).No.21028 of 2019.

2.This Court, by an order dated 30.09.2019, in W.P.(MD). No.21028 of 2019, directed the respondent police to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks. Since the respondent Police did not consider the petitioner's representation within the time prescribed by this Court, the present contempt petition has been filed.

3.Today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that since the petitioner is a habitual offender, his name also maintained in the history sheet by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P.(MD).No.786 of 2020 the respondent Police even till today. Therefore, the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2019, as directed by this Court, is carefully considered and passed orders on 08.12.2020 and the same was duly communicated to the petitioner herein. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the Contempt Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent herein.
