ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 376 of I.P.C., Sections 5(L) and 5(J)(ii) and Section 6 of POCSO Act in Crime No.38 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had forcibly sexual intercourse with the victim girl. As a consequence, she became pregnant. Hence, the case.

3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

CRL OP(MD). No.8222 of 2023 4.It is seen that under the pretext of love affair, the petitioner had penetrative sexual assault on the minor victim girl, who is aged about 16 years. Therefore, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case. 5.Taking into consideration the seriousness and gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
