Writ Miscellaneous Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to pass an order of interim direction directing the respondent no. 3 to permit the petitioners to make the application for selection to the posts of B.T.Assistants (Social Science ) (History) pending disposal of the instant Writ Petition. Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned notification in Notification no. 03/2023 dated 25.10.2023 on the file of the respondent no. 3 and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents no. 1-3 to consider the petitioners for participation in the instant recruitment in the subject of Additional Under Graduation acquired after a pass in TET within a time stipulated by this Honble Court. ORDER : This writ miscellaneous petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.LOUIS S, Advocate for the petitioners and of M/s.K.
CHRISTY THEBORAL, Government Advocate on behalf of the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 and of Mr.VR.SHANMUGANATHAN, Standing Counsel on behalf of the Respondent No.3, the Court made the following order:- The present application has been filed seeking an interim direction to the third respondent to permit the petitioners to participate in the certificate verification in connection with the selection process in pursuance to the Notification No.03/2023 dated 25.10.2023.
2. According to the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent, the second petitioner, namely, M.Muthukumar, has already been called for certificate verification and he will be permitted to participate in the certificate 2/4
verification. The said fact is recorded.
3. As far as the first petitioner, namely, P.K.Karthik, is concerned, he belongs to MBC category and he has secured 62 marks. However, the cut off for an MBC candidate is 78. Hence, he has not been called for certificate verification.
