O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct direct the 1st respondent to take necessary action against the 3rd to 8th respondents based on the petitioner's complaint dated 06.01.2025 and within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, she is a senior citizen and lodged a complaint against the respondents 3 to 8 for the criminal activities done by them before the 2nd respondent on 06.01.2025, but no action has been taken. Hence this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that earlier they have received complaint from the petitioner and based on the same, FIR in Crime No. 137 of 2024 has been registered against the private respondents and the 2/5

same was closed after enquiry as 'mistake of fact'. Again, the petitioner has sent another representation on 06.01.2025 and the same is under enquiry. They will conduct enquiry and dispose of the same within a period of 15 days.

4.Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass orders without issuing notice to the private respondents.

5.According to the petitioner, she lodged a complaint against respondents 3 to 8, but no action has been taken. According to the 2nd respondent, the petitioner's earlier complaint as against 3 to 8 was closed after enquiry and the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.01.2025 is pending for enquiry.

6.In view of the same, this Court hereby directs the respondent police to consider the representation of the petitioner and act in accordance with law within a period of 15 days from the date of this order.

7.With the above observations and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
