This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the second respondent to give necessary police protection to the petitioner and to his cattle shed, situated in Natham Survey No.270/1S1, in Sithambur Village, Sithambur Majra, Musiri Taluk, Trichirappalli District, by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 27.08.2020.

2.Heard Mr.P.Santhana Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. 3.Today when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that upon the representation dated 27.08.2020, given by the petitioner, an enquiry has been initiated in Current Paper No.G4/18452/1929/2020 and the same is pending on the file of the second respondent.
