This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report in respect of Crime No.70 of 2024.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complainant in this case and based on his complaint, F.I.R in Crime No.70 of 2024 has been registered for the offences under Sections 279 and 337 of IPC. Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far not filed the final report. Hence, he has filed this petition.

3. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that already they completed the investigation and filed the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Usilampatti in S.T.C.No.542 of 2024. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.
