ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. The petitioner wants this Court to direct the official respondents to remove the encroachments committed in the petition mentioned water channel. As many as four survey numbers have been given.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader states that the encroachments in Survey Nos.501 & 502 have already been removed. The respondents 1 and 2 are directed to ensure that these two survey numbers do not come under encroachment ever again. As regards Survey Nos.513 and 514, they sought some more time. We grant eight more weeks to the respondents 1 and 2 and all the encroachments shall removed after following due process of law. Encroachers shall be put on notice before they are removed. 2/4

4. This writ petition is allowed on these terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
