PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to conduct for the post of Extension Officer Grade-II in the fourth respondent Society in a proper manner, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2021, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner to the post of Extension Officer, Grade - II in the fourth respondent Society based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2021, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents that pursuant to G.O.(2D)No.20 [Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fishery Department] dated 22.08.2019, the recruitment to the post sought 2/5

for by the petitioner is presently carried out by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. Therefore, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by the respondent and the representation given by the petitioner cannot also be considered. 3.The aforesaid fact is also not disputed by the learned Counsel for the petitioner.

4.In view of the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to redress his grievance against the appropriate authorities with regard to the representation made by him dated 02.07.2021 in the manner known to the petitioner under law.
