ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The respondent police registered a case as against the petitioner in Crime No.456 of 2023 for the offence under Section 18 of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Sections 77 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused have 1/3

illegally sold drug tablets and injections to young students.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent opposed for grant of bail on the ground that the petitioner has misused the drug tablets to young students.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of offence and also considering the allegation as against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
