ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w. 20 (b) (ii)(C), 25 and 29 (1) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.19 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused were in possession of 1200 Kgs of Ganja.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent and he is in no way connected with the alleged offence and they would co-operate for investigation.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) raised serious objection on the ground that the investigation is at initial stage.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, interim anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioner enabling him to appear before the respondent Police for investigation. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 am from 13.06.2024 and co-operate for the investigation.

6. The respondent Police is directed to file a report as to the role of the petitioner in the offence on the next date of hearing. Post the matter on 26.06.2024. Till such time, the petitioner shall not be arrested.
