This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2020. 2.Heard Mr.R.Pon Karthikeyan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. 3.Today when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that upon the representation dated 15.09.2020, given by the petitioner, an enquiry has been initiated in C.S.R.No.348 of 2020, dated 15.09.2020 and the same is pending on the file of the second respondent. He would further submit that during enquiry, if it is found protection is necessary, suitable action will be taken.
