PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the 2nd respondent police not to interfere into the civil dispute and not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry without due process of law.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 18.08.2021, a direction was issued to the petitioner herein to appear before the Enquiry Officer and cooperate with him to complete the enquiry. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has appeared before the Enquiry Officer. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that based upon the complaint given by this petitioner, a case in Crime No.1258 of 2021 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 465, 468, 471, 420 and 506 (ii) of IPC on 19.09.2021. Since the case has been registered, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition.
