This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent Police to file a final report in Crime No.13 of 2017, on the file of the second respondent Police Station.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that in connection with Crime No.13 of 2017, the second respondent Police had completed the investigation and filed a final report on 15.02.2017 itself as "Mistake of Fact" before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam. He would further submit that before filing of the final report, a Referred charge Sheet notice has also been served to the petitioner / de facto complainant.
