PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 14 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who is A2, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.01.2022 for the offences punishable under Section 302 of IPC, seeks bail.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even though Act 14 has been invoked against the petitioner on 03.02.2022, he is going to challenge the same and the invocation of Act 14 may not be a bar for considering this petition.

3.Even if the petitioner is released for bail, since Act 14 has been invoked against him, he cannot be released on bail from the prison. Depending upon the outcome of the steps to be taken by the petitioner to challenge the invocation of Act 14, he can approach this Court for regular bail.

4.With the aforesaid liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed at present.
