Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. I am not inclined to grant relief as sought for in this writ petition. It is surprising that an ancient river is shown as the northern boundary of the petitioner's property. It is even more than surprising that the Government official had already informed the writ petitioner that the river is running through the patta land.

3. Be that as it may, since the petitioner is having objections, the second respondent shall survey and demarcate the petitioner's boundaries. This exercise shall be carried out within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
