ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus, to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2025, for cancellation of patta in the name of the fourth respondent and consequently to issue patta in the name of the petitioner.

2. I have heard Mr.K.Arunraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the second respondent is the competent authority and a suitable direction may be issued.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2025, giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent and pass final orders on 2/4

merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
