O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the respondents to remove the encroachments made by the shop keepers and Auto 2/5
drivers and take necessary action.
2. The learned Government Pleader submitted photographs to show that encroachments outside the Mattuthavani Bus stand had already been removed. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that encroachments inside the bus stand are yet to be removed. In this regard, the authorities have to identify the encroachments and initiate all appropriate actions to remove the encroachments.
3. As far as the encroachment already removed outside the bus stand is concerned, the authorities are directed to be vigilant and they should not allow any further encroachments in the said place and the public road is to be maintained properly for the benefit of the people who all are moving towards the Central Bus stand Mattuthavani.
4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
