The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that in view of the change of circumstances during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner may be permitted to approach the Authority competent for the purpose of redressal of her grievance and he is not pressing the writ petition.

2. This writ petition is filing challenging the order of transfer transferring the petitioner from Pudukkottai to Ramanathapuram as the petitioner was working as Associate Professor. 3.

The impugned order of transfer was issued on administrative grounds. The Courts cannot interfere with such administrative transfers in a routine manner. Interference in dayto-day administration of the Government Departments is not desirable as the same may derail the smooth functioning of the public https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.3574 of 2019 administration. Thus, the order of transfer can be assailed on certain limited grounds of jurisdiction or mala fides, but not otherwise. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to approach the Authority competent for redressal of her grievance.

4. It is left open to the petitioner to approach the Authority competent for redressal of her grievance in the manner known to law.
