O R D E R

The petitioner/defacto complainant in Crime No.303 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent, with the grievance that the investigation in above crime number has not yet been completed, has approached this Court.

2.Mr.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents and submits that the investigation in Crime No.303 of 2019 has already been completed and the final report has also been filed before the concerned Magistrate Court on 15.04.2026, through e-filing.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. 2/4

Mere filing of final report is not sufficient and it is the responsibility of the respondent police to ensure that the final report is filed without any defects and taken on file by the concerned Court within a period of one month. It is also the responsibility of the concerned Courts to take the final reports on file, if it is filed in order, within a period of two weeks.
