ORDER

The petitioner, a pensioner, claiming 20% increase in his pension amount, as per G.O.Ms.No.42 dated 07.02.20211, has filed this writ petition.

2.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is no more and he is not in a position to contact his legal heirs of the petitioner.

3.Though this Court has granted sufficient time to file necessary application to implead the legal heirs of the petitioner, the learned counsel has expressed his difficulty in contacting the 2/4

legal heirs. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents have also denied the claim of the petitioner that he is not eligible for the relief that the petitioner cannot seek benefits on par with the government servants.

4.Since the petitioner is no more, this writ petition is closed with a liberty to the legal heirs of the petitioner to file necessary application, if they are so advised. There shall be no order as to costs.
