Respondents (Writ Petition has been converted as Suo Motu Writ Petition vide order dated 11.08.2025 made in W.P.(MD).No.3607 of 2019) PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to take action in providing adequate building facility, sufficient teaching staffs, clean drinking water, sufficient toilets with water for all the Government tribal's residential schools functioning in the State of Tamil Nadu, and to direct the respondents to strictly implement bio metric attendance for the teaching staff working in all Government Tribal's residential schools in the State of Tamil Nadu and to provide necessary transport facilities for the students who are studying in the G.T.R School, consequently to direct the respondents to take appropriate action against the erring teaching staffs who failed to attend the Government Tribal's Welfare Schools in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner died during the pendency of the Writ Petition. Therefore, this Writ Petition has been converted as Suo Motu Writ Petition for the purpose of disposal of the same.
2. With reference to the grievances set out by the petitioner in the Writ Petition, the Joint Director (Scholarship), Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Chennai filed a status report stating that the grievances are already addressed and funds are sanctioned for the purpose of providing infrastructure facilities and for upgradation of tribal schools. The details are set out in paragraph 4 of the status report, which reads as under:

3. In view of the action taken by the respondents to redress the grievances of the petitioner, no further consideration is required. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
