ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 13(2) r/w. 13(1) (c) and 13(1) (d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, in Crime No.8 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, Madurai, after demonetization of Rs.500/- and Rs.1,000/- currency notes on 08.11.2016, deposited money in the denomination of Rs.500/- and Rs.1,000/- instead of Rs.5/-, Rs.10/- Rs.20/-, Rs.50/- and Rs.100/-. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that A2 was working as Senior Superintendent of Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation, Dindigul Branch in Unit-III. He has nothing to do with the deposit made by the persons. Further he would submit that he also retired from service. A3 was working as a Senior Assistant Engineer, at Palani. 4.Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Cum Special Judge Court, Dindigul and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 6.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
