O R D E R
This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limp of the petitioner on the basis of the complaint in C.S.R.No.103 of 2023 given by the petitioner on 13.04.2023.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that based upon the representation made by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry, summon was issued to the petitioner and the petitioner appeared before the Enquiry Officer and given a statement and further enquiry was urged. Thereafter, no summon was issued to the petitioner.
3. In view of the above submission, this Court directs the second respondent to issue summon to the petitioner as well as the third 2/4
respondent to appear before him on 26.06.2023 and after recording their statement, the second respondent shall enquire the petitioner's complaint on its own merits. Depending upon the outcome of the enquire, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through the appropriate proceedings, if aggrieved.
