ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned First Information Report in Crime No.95 of 2023 on the file of the 1st respondent Police Station and quash the same as illegal against the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that investigation in this case has already been completed and the final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kovilaptti, but, it has not been taken on file so far.

3. Since the final report has been filed, there shall be a direction to the Magistrate concerned to process the same within the time stipulated as per rules. If the petitioner is aggrieved with the contents of the final report, he can work out the remedy through 2/4

appropriate proceedings.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
