: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application made for patta by deletion of the name of Nesavu Pattarai Pallivasal Present Trustee to an extent of Land property comprised in Survey No.244/3 measuring about 23 1⁄2 cents situated at Sothukudi Village, Ilaiyangudi Taluk, Sivagangai District in the light of the petitioner's application and the communication of the 2nd Respondent dated 12.12.2022, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application seeking UDR correction. The petitioner has made an application way back in 2022 and the second respondent has subsequently conducted an enquiry, but no final orders were passed.

2.In the light of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's application, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as other interested parties in accordance with law within a period of eight [8] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
