Heard the learned counsel on either side. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner had applied to the respondent seeking issuance of legal heir certificate. The respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned application on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the respondent to pass orders one way or the other.

3.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
