ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to survey the petitioner's land, subdivide and issue separate patta to the petitioner.

2. I have heard Mr.P.Muthusamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that an application has been made for survey, way back on 14/7/2023 and necessary fee has also been remitted. However, for close two years, no action has been taken. The petitioner therefore, has filed the present writ petition seeking not only survey but also subdivision and issuance of separate patta.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would invite my attention to the application made by the petitioner and point out that what was sought for was only survey and necessary charges have been paid only for survey. However, according to him, prayer in the writ petition is for subdivision as well as issuance of separate patta, he would necessarily have to apply online and requisite fee will have to be paid for the subdivision and issuance of separate patta besides also obtaining and producing no objection letters from the copattadhars in Patta No.2692.

In view of the submission of the learned Government Advocate, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition directing the petitioner to produce the consent letters / No Objection letters from the co-pattadhars Ramalingam Pillai, Nadesan, Sathyavathi, Gokulambal, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Within the said two weeks period, the petitioner shall also make necessary online application for subdivision and issuance of separate patta and remit the requisite charges. Upon the above being complied with by the petitioner, the second respondent shall proceed to dispose of the petitioner's 3/5

application dated 14.07.2023 as well as the online application proposed and directed to be made by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks, thereafter.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
