For Respondent : Mr.K.R.Bharathykannan, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For an Anticipatory Bail in Cr.No.1651 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A3, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under section 8(c) r/w Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.1651 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 21.08.2020, the petitioner along with other accused were in possession of 2 kgs of Ganja. Hence, the present complaint.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

CRL OP(MD). No.10181 of 2020 5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner is having nine previous cases of similar in nature.

6.Considering the facts and circumstances and also considering the fact that the petitioner is having nine previous cases of similar in nature, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
