ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to take disciplinary action against the private respondents who are responsible for issuance of bogus ration card to the fourth respondent.

2.Heard Mr.T.A.Ebenezer, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.K.Jeyaseelan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.Learned Government Advocate submits that it is not a case of issuance of bogus ration card but a case of not carrying out corrections in address.

4.However, I am not going into the merits of the matter. The prayer as sought for in this writ petition is to initiate disciplinary action. Initiation of disciplinary action is within the domain of the employer and if at all the petitioner is aggrieved, he can only seek for other reliefs which may be permissible to him under law and he cannot by way of Mandamus seek to initiate disciplinary action. 5.In that view of the matter, this writ petition is dismissed, however with liberty to the petitioner to seek for any other remedy which is available to him under law. However, there is no order as to costs.
