(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents to remove the encroachment in the pathway bearing survey No.1097 which in front of survey No.1098/2A48C situated at Pamban Village, Rameswaram Taluk,

The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that pursuant to the order passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P(MD)No.26548 of 2024, dated 07.11.2024, an enquiry is in progress. After completing the enquiry, necessary actions will be initiated to remove the encroachments by following the procedure as contemplated under the relevant statute and rules in force.

3. In view of the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
