(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The relief sought for by the petitioner, namely, not to close the ice plant, cannot be considered.

2.The authorities are empowered to conduct an inspection and verify the genuineness of the licence granted as well as other relevant factors. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a licence has been issued by the competent authority. However, the petitioner in W.P(MD)No.24170 of 2019 would submit that no licence has been granted. 4.In view of the contra submissions made between the parties, the concerned authorities are directed to verify the genuineness of the licence, if any, that has been granted and to initiate all appropriate actions in accordance with law.

5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
