2 W.P.(MD)NO.11738 OF 2024 Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to regularise the petitioner's property measuring to an extent of 730 sq.ft. housing land in Madakulam Village, Survey No.204/B4 in Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District in accordance with G.O.Ms. No.565 Revenue Department dated 26.09.2008 passed by the first respondent under the innocent buyers category and confirm the title and possession of the petitioner's land to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation and undertaking dated 29.12.2023. Heard both sides.

2. The writ petitioner is a bona fide purchaser for value. He had purchased the lands which were hit by the Land Ceiling Laws. In order to protect the interest of innocent purchasers, the Government issued G.O. (Ms).No.565 Revenue Department dated 26.09.2008.

3. All that the petitioner wants is consideration of his request for regularisation in terms of the aforesaid G.O.

4. The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's request for regularisation in terms of the aforesaid G.O. An appropriate 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.11738 OF 2024 order shall be passed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
