*********** [Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner has made a representation dated 25.06.2018 before the respondents inter alia alleging that in the proposed widening of the road, there is an encroachment on the side ways and there has to be drainage lane, which would also enable the preclusion of water being stored in agricultural lands. petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to lay drainage lane while widening Chokkalingapuram to Kaadampatti link road to get rainwater to Aalamkulam lake, Malampatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai.

2. Taking into consideration of the pendency of the representation submitted by the petitioner before the first respondent, on 25.06.2018, we direct the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 25.06.2018, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
