RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time stipulated in the order in Crl.OP(MD).No. 8307 of 2020 dated 13.08.2020 on the file of this Hon`ble court Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.J.CHAKKKARAVARTHY, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl.Side)on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Court, by order dated 13.08.2020, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.8307 of 2020, directed the petitioners to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukkottai, and execute a bond for a sum of Rs.
25,000/- [Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only] with two sureties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. The petitioners were also directed to jointly deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand only] to the credit of Madras High Court Madurai Bench Advocate Clerk's Welfare Association, Madurai-625 023 within a period of two weeks. According to the petitioners, due to financial constraints, they were unable to arrange the funds, and unable to comply with the conditions, within the stipulated time and they have deposited the said sum of Rs.10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand only] on 07.09.2020. The learned counsel submitted that since there was a delay in depositing the amount, the learned Magistrate concerned has not accepted the sureties and returned the surety memo.
Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, delay in depositing the amount is condoned and the time granted by this Court vide order dated 13.08.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.8307 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today.
3. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
