O R D E R
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondents. Considering the nature of relief to be granted in this writ petition, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with. 2.The petitioner had filed a petition under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, against his son namely., the third respondent herein. The petitioner had succeeded before the second respondent. The third respondent had filed an appeal before the first respondent and it is pending for quite some time. All that the petitioner wants is speedy disposal of the said appeal.
3.No exception can be taken to the said request. 4.The first respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the first respondent to pass orders one way https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.12588 of 2020 or the other. It is needless to mention that before disposal, the third respondent will have to be heard.
5.The writ petition is disposed of on these terms. No costs.
