ORDER

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to consider the petitioner's viva-voce interview, based on his education qualification (Home Science) and others in the Common Recruitment for the post of Sub Inspector of Police (Finger Print) notification dated 29.08.2018.

2.The petitioner participated in the process of selection for appointment to the post of Inspector of Police(Finger Print) and the petitioner was successfully in the written examination and participated in the endurance test.

3.The grievance of the writ petitioner is that though he performed well, he was not selected. The petitioner himself admitted the fact that he has scored 66.01 marks. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.4146 of 2019 4.The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents contended that the petitioner was not within the zone of consideration and the petitioner scored 66.01 marks and the cut-off marks for eligible was 67.20 for BC Community under Non-PSTM Category. Therefore, the petitioner has not secured the cut off marks and thus, he was not selected. When the petitioner is not within the zone of consideration for selection to the post of SubInspector of Police(Finger Print), there is no other reason whatsoever to consider the case of the writ petitioner. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
