Heard the learned counsel on either side. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has moved the Revenue Divisional Officer, Virudhunagar under the Maintenance of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

It appears that the petitioner had executed a gift deed in favour of his daughters and he wants the same to be cancelled.

3.The respondent is directed to dispose of the said petition given by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that the authority must necessarily hear the stakeholders and other interested persons before passing orders on the petition mentioned representation. I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is for the respondent to pass order one way or other.
