PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to frame and issue guidelines to prevent hate speech of the leaders of the political party based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025 within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.) By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.Mr.A.Albert James, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the respondents.

3.The contention of the petitioner is that on 05.04.2025, a meeting was conducted by a political party, namely Thanthai Periyar Dravida Kazhagam in Chennai. In that meeting, a political leader had spoken about Hindu Religion and made several controversial remarks about Vaishnavism and Shaivism and also made derogatory comments on women. Thereby, the harmony of the public has been largely affected. Hence, the petitioner made representations dated 12.04.2025 and 21.04.2025. However, the same was not considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submits that the representation of the petitioner was considered and the same was rejected by proceedings dated 20.04.2025. He has also produced a copy of the said proceedings.

5.Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the rejection order dated 20.04.2025 in the manner known to law, if so advised. No costs.
