Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner any of the post suitable for the petitioner's education based on the petitioner's original application for compassionate appointment, dated 10.11.2011.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner in any of the post suitable to the petitioner's education based on the petitioner's original application for compassionate appointment, dated 10.11.2011.

2. Heard Mr.B,Vinoth Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner is said to have submitted an application in the year 2010. As per the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the application was submitted by the petitioner to the third respondent and the third respondent has not forwarded the same to the concerned authorities, for the past 10 years. In the proceedings of the first respondent dated 14.10.2020 addressed to the second respondent, it has been stated to verify as to whether the petitioner has submitted any application on 10.11.2010.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that she had submitted an application to the third respondent and despite the same, the third respondent has not forwarded the same to the concerned authorities. Further, the petitioner claimed that the said application has not been considered for the past 10 years. However, this Court finds that the petitioner cannot keep silent for the past 10 years and now, claim that she already submitted an application to the authorities and the same was kept pending till date.

5. In these circumstances, it is for the second respondent to verify the files and give an answer to the first respondent about the real status of availability of the application, if any, filed by the petitioner.

6. With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
