The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted to direct the third respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2016 and to reform the name board of Madurai Kamarajar Palgalaikazhagam / Madurai Kamaraj University as Madurai Kamarajar Palgalaikazhagam / Madurai Kamarajar University as narrated by the fourth respondent in his letter Ref.Na.Ka.No. Aa / Mo. 3/ 541 / 2016 dated 22.04.2016.

2. The prayer as such sought for in this writ petition is misconceived and to reform the name board is an administrative decision taken by the University and 2/4

this Court cannot issue any such directions in this issue. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the University.
