This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to carry out appropriate survey and demarcation of the petitioner's land bearing Survey No. 309/13 situated at Veeramachanpatti village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The petitioner submitted an application along with necessary fees on 05.04.2024 and a representation dated 10.04.2024 to conduct survey and demarcate the properties in question. However, no action has been taken on the said application. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submits that after consideration of the claims of both the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
5. In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 05.04.2024 and demarcate the land of the petitioner, after considering the claims of both the parties 2/4
and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are rival claims, the said issues can be agitated before the civil Court. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
