PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to take action against the private pay channels which are airing advertisements and ban the same which are against the TRAI Rules and Regulations on the basis of the Petitioner representation dated 29/1/2019.

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to take action against the private pay channels which are airing advertisements and ban the same which are against the TRAI Rules and Regulations on the basis of the Petitioner representation dated 29/1/2019.

2. Regarding the issue raised in the present writ petition, the High Court of Delhi granted an interim stay in W.P(C).7982/2013 and that writ petition is sub 2/5

judice. Thus, no further adjudication at this juncture needs to be undertaken. If any grievance arose after disposal of the case before the Delhi High Court, the petitioner is at liberty to do so.
