O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 8 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the ninth respondent.

2. Issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner is a resident of Ramanayakkan Patti Village. He states that in the petition mentioned survey numbers, there are encroachments.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that a odai runs through the petition mentioned survey numbers and that survey was conducted and encroachments were noticed. Form-I, Form-II and Form-III notices were already issued. The fifth respondent issued Form-III notice in July 2025. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date the said Form-III notice has not been enforced.

5. We direct the fifth respondent to forthwith enforce the Form-III notice already issued by him. The ninth respondent shall give all necessary protection to the fifth respondent to enforce the Form-III notice already issued by him. The water body in question shall be restored to its original condition. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
